Course Learning Objectives #10

Wow I dont even know where to start. I have had a great experience within this class. I really enjoyed the style of teaching within this class. Along with how interactive this class really was. It was a great experience to take this class and further help me to learn about various different ideas and things within this class. From understanding and learning about what it means to be digital, Classifying objects or concepts (from 3400 B.C. to modern) as digital or not digital, understanding the advantages and limitations of a digital representation in a historical as well as modern context, understanding the process of digitization as it applies to text and sound, including the tradeoffs that must be considered in the process, understanding the Contrast the digital representation of an object or concept with the “natural” object. This was a very informative and interesting course and it helped to learn so many different things within this course. I feel like every senior should always take this course to help broaden their knowledge and continue to expand their knowledge in various different ways. To see everyone’s project and to understand how AI is so prevalent within our everyday lives is really crazy to see. Further the class discussions within this class were very interesting and engaging because when people started to share and talk everyone began to get much more involved which really made the class interesting. Also listening to all of the podcasts was very helpful and interesting. I also really enjoyed making my presentation on Ai within the music space because music has such a big impact on people everyday so just looking at and seeing how it will continue to grow. For example there is a full band on spotify that is fully AI and people did not even know that it was full AI it will continue to grow bigger. I also enjoyed the loom project as well because it took me such a long time to get the loom done but once i figured out the loom it was great to finish and do. Overall this was a great and very interesting class for me it helped to grow and really understand so much more along with some of the great inventions from the past up until now.
